Job summary

The Byng Group in Kitchener, ON is seeking experienced Independent Painting & Drywall Contractors to support apartment turnover and renovation projects across Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and surrounding areas. Work is assigned directly with no bidding, and payments are bi-weekly.

You must operate as an independent contractor, have a registered business with GST/HST, provide liability insurance of at least $2M, a WSIB clearance, and own vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

• Must operate as an Independent Contractor.
• Registered business with a GST/HST number.
• Minimum $2M Commercial General Liability Insurance.
• WSIB Clearance Certificate.
• Own vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Experience in residential painting and light drywall repairs.

Responsibilities

• Interior painting and repainting.
• Drywall repairs, patching, and minor installations.
• Surface preparation, mudding, sanding, and touch-ups.
• Apartment turnover and renovation work.
