Job summary

Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd. is seeking Independent Contractors for its LCV fleet operating between Winnipeg, MB and Saskatoon, SK. The role runs Monday through Friday with fixed schedules and predictable work.

Contractors own their truck (5 years or newer) and must meet safety standards; benefits include orientation, safety bonus, and referral program, with strong dispatch support and ongoing maintenance coverage.

Qualifications

• Class 1A driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience.
• Must own your own truck (5 years or newer).
• LCV experience and ability to drive in all terrains.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle freight and freight documents.
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
• Professional communication with customers.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety.
• Perform all other duties as requested.

Today, Harv Wilkening Transport provides Less-Than-Truckload and Full-Truckload services throughout Canada. With more than 60 years of experience and trusted tools, Harv Wilkening gets the job done right every time. Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., requires Independent Contractors for our LCV Fleet domiciled in AB, SK and MB. This position is running a Monday - Friday schedule between Winnipeg, MB and Saskatoon, SK.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle freight and freight documents
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
• Professional communication with customers
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety
• Perform all other duties as requested
