Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking an Independence Senior Associate to help maintain regulatory compliance and strengthen internal controls across client engagements. You will work with Partners and service teams to interpret independence rules and support the Global JBR Center of Excellence.

You’ll participate in ongoing training, collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, and contribute to special independence projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Global JBR Center of Excellence to influence PwC's network strategy and compliance.
• Provide consultation to Partners and client service teams on independence rules.
• Stay updated on Joint Business Relationship Assessments and participate in required training.
• Support Independence Office and other independence activities.
• Collaborate with independence team members onshore and offshore.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and general independence activities.
