PwC Canada seeks a Digital Assurance & Transparency Senior Associate in External Audit Process Assurance to help clients optimize controls, IT governance, and financial reporting processes.

You will perform certification work, test IT controls, conduct readiness assessments, and collaborate with PwC teams and clients to deliver high-quality audits on time.

This role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong knowledge of frameworks, and clear communication of audit evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or business related.
• Working towards designations: CPA/CA/CMA/CGA/CIA/CISA/CISM or CISSP
• Proven ability to document processes and controls; develop and execute testing programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide certification services, including assessment of technology risks and control frameworks (COSO, COBIT).
• Participate in IT Controls audits and testing of automated and manual controls.
• Carry out work in compliance with deadlines and budgetary requirements.
• Consult with clients on operational controls and process improvement.
• Document audit evidence clearly and assess relevance and quality of information.
