Job summary

Delta School District is seeking qualified Inclusive Learning District On Call Teachers to support learners across its 31 schools in Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen. This is a 1.0 FTE contract position with full teacher benefits and the opportunity to work at several schools throughout the school year.

Required: Diploma or Master's in Inclusive Education or related coursework; BC Teaching Certificate (valid or pending) and related documentation. Salary ranges from $69,147 to $116,190 per year.

Delta School District is currently accepting qualified Inclusive Learning District On Call Teachers!

This is a 1.0 FTE contract position with full teacher benefits and is an opportunity to work at several schools throughout the school year.

Qualification Requirements:

• Diploma or Master's in the area of Inclusive Education preferred OR at least three courses in the following areas:

• Theoretical foundations of inclusive education
• Child and youth development and exceptionalitysuch as development disability, physical disability, or ASD
• Inclusive instructional and assessmentpractices for diverse classrooms
• Social emotional learning and mental health related learning needs. This may include course work on trauma informed practice, various aspects of mental health or positive behavioural support.
• Queens special education part 1 and 2 meets the qualificationsfor this position.
