Job summary

Prairie Land Public School Division seeks an Educational Assistant for Morrin School. This full-time temporary role (30 hours per week) starts as soon as possible for the 2025-2026 school year.

You will collaborate with teachers to support students, reinforce learning, and help maintain an inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate holds a minimum high school diploma, with preference for a post-secondary certificate or diploma in a human services field.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; preference for a post-secondary certificate or diploma in a human services field.
• Preference given to candidates with training in special education or a related field.
• Experience supporting individuals with diverse learner needs is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support students individually and in groups with classroom activities.
• Reinforce instructions as directed by the teacher and monitor progress.
• Assist with independent work and supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and on school grounds.
• Support behavior management strategies and assist with observation, documentation, and reporting.
• May assist with personal care needs when required.
