Job summary

triOS Institute in Ontario seeks an inaugural President to lead the establishment, growth, and long‑term success of a new degree‑granting institution. You will drive strategic vision, academic quality, governance, and regulatory readiness while shaping the student experience and partnerships.

Reporting to the Board of Governors, you will oversee curriculum development, accreditation, research integration, and external relations, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with labour market

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressively senior leadership experience in post‑secondary education.
• Experience as a President, Vice‑President, Provost, Dean, or equivalent senior executive.
• Familiarity with governance structures, boards, accreditation, and regulatory processes.
• Strong financial and strategic planning capabilities in a complex academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to establish and grow triOS Institute as a recognized degree‑granting institution.
• Oversee academic integrity, quality assurance, curriculum and program review.
• Lead governance, board relations, reporting, risk management, and regulatory readiness.
• Build external partnerships with industry, government, and scholarly community.
• Champion student success, workforce alignment, innovation, and applied research.
