Job summary

triOS Institute seeks an accomplished academic and postsecondary leader to serve as President, shaping the Institute’s academic vision, governance, and regulatory readiness as it pursues degree programs in Ontario.

The President will lead strategic planning, academic quality, financial sustainability, and stakeholder engagement, establishing triOS Institute as a national and international leader in career-focused education from launch onward.

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DBA, JD, MD, or equivalent terminal degree).
• Significant executive experience in postsecondary education governance.
• Strong understanding of Ontario's post-secondary system and regulatory processes.
• Experience with quality assurance, accreditation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful establishment and growth of triOS Institute as a degree-granting institution.
• Develop and implement multi-year strategic and operating plans with the Board.
• Advise and support the Board of Governors on priorities, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure academic quality, integrity, and regulatory readiness across programs.
• Represent the Institute nationally and internationally and build external partnerships.
