Healthy Planet in Toronto is seeking a Health & Beauty Advisor to guide customers toward wellness and natural beauty products. You’ll assess needs, offer personalized recommendations, and perform in-store demos to highlight skincare, cosmetics, and natural alternatives.

This full-time role emphasizes a friendly, fast-paced retail environment, flexible availability including weekends, and opportunities for training, product education, and career growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in retail or client-facing advisor role.
• Strong passion for natural health, beauty, and eco-conscious products.
• Experience in the beauty industry (sales, cosmetics, or skincare) is a strong asset.
• Energetic, confident, and personable, with the ability to engage and assist diverse customers.
• Excellent verbal communication, sales, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their skin, hair care, or cosmetic needs.
• Recommend appropriate health and beauty products, including skincare, cosmetics, and natural alternatives.
• Offer in-store mini-makeovers, demonstrations, and personalized skincare suggestions.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through product education and attentive service.
• Encourage product sales by building trust and communicating product benefits clearly.
• Collaborate with team members and management to execute department sales strategies.
• Meet or exceed sales goals while supporting customers’ wellness and beauty objectives.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Follow store schematics and enhance visual merchandising with an eye for detail and creativity.
• Maintain product inventory and ensure stock levels and displays meet store standards.
