Job summary

Job Summary

A Cake Decorator is responsible for designing, decorating, and finishing cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications and company standards. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality products in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other baked goods using icing, fondant, edible decorations, and other techniques.
• Create custom cake designs based on customer requests and special occasions.
• Prepare and mix frosting, fillings, and decorative materials.
• Ensure products meet quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and decorating equipment.
• Assist with baking, packaging, and displaying products as needed.
• Manage inventory of decorating supplies and report shortages.
• Communicate with customers and team members regarding design requirements and order details.
• Complete orders accurately and within established deadlines.
