Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly bakery teammates to join our store teams. You’ll adhere to food safety protocols, deliver great customer service, and help merchandise and prepare bakery products.

This role supports store operations across Alberta, promotes products, and contributes to a clean, safe workplace while training junior staff and ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, Health and Safety, and company policies.
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs.
• Keep work area clean and presentable.
• Process customer Bakery orders.
• Perform program execution and merchandising of product.
• Handle and prepare Bakery products.
• Increase store sales by actively promoting products.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Order and receive stock in accordance with inventory control procedures.
• Process department shrink and maintain a safe work environment.
