Job summary

Thrifty-Foods is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service while handling bakery products and orders. The role emphasizes accurate, timely work and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will keep the bakery area clean, assist with merchandising and stock management, and support junior staff when needed to contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere and drive sales.

• Keep work area clean and presentable
• Process customer Bakery orders
• Perform program execution and merchandising of product
• Handle and prepare Bakery products
• Increase store sales by actively promoting products
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
• Process department shrink
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
• Other duties as required
