Job summary

Canucks Sports & Entertainment in Vancouver is seeking an In-Seat Runner to join our hourly Hospitality team for events at Rogers Arena. This part-time, events-based role delivers premium food and beer service to club seat guests during busy game and concert nights.

Shifts typically start around 5:30pm and require the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Serving it Right certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:30pm.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time.
• Completion of Serving it Right Certificate.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of our hourly Hospitality team, In-Seat Runners provide premium level food and beer service to our club section guests during a busy event-time environment. They consistently provide exceptional and knowledgeable service that will impress and thrill fans and provide an iconic experience at every touch point. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

• Providing exceptional first level service to guests in our club seat sections
• Running food and beverages to guests in between game time action
• Proactively engaging with fans to create friendly and personal connections
• Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:30pm
• Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
• Completion of Serving it Right Certificate
• Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
• Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries
• Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 8 months of validity remaining
