Job summary

Shared Health-Thompson General Hospital seeks a Primary Care Paramedic for an in-person, full-time position in the Thompson ERS – North Zone. Responsibilities include urgent medical response and patient care within a culturally diverse setting, using Shared Health ERS and Digital Health tools.

The ideal candidate is a PCP program graduate with Manitoba certification, a valid Class IV license, and BLS Level C, with experience in emergency and patient relations. Multilingual abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Primary Care Paramedic program from an accredited Canadian institution.
• Certificate of Practice with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba – in good standing.
• Must have a valid Class IV Manitoba driver’s license and BLS Level C.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Emergency Medical Service calls as part of Thompson ERS – North Zone.
• Utilize Shared Health ERS and Digital Health tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively in English and French to support bilingual service where required.
