Job summary

Shared Health in Melita, MB is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic to join the ERS-EMS team. You will provide pre-hospital care within a multidisciplinary health care team, work in day and night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, and operate vehicles and equipment safely in line with provincial regulations and Shared Health policies.

Ideal candidates have PCPP certification, BLS level C, and a commitment to LEADS principles, alongside bilingual capabilities for designated positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Primary Care Paramedic program held by an accredited Canadian education institution, or a College of Paramedics of Manitoba approved equivalent.
• Must have a valid Class IV Manitoba driver’s license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), level C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital care as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and equipment per regulations and policy.
• Collaborate with health care providers and community agencies to deliver integrated care.
• Demonstrate commitment to Shared Health mission, vision, values and policies.
