Job summary

Shared Health in Manitoba is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic for an in-person, full-time role. The position involves 12-hour shifts (days and nights) with a total base hours commitment of 2184 per year and a 1.00 FTE workload.

The successful candidate will provide pre-hospital care, work across diverse communities, and utilize Shared Health ERS and digital health tools while adhering to LEADS leadership principles and bilingual service requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Primary Care Paramedic program or approved equivalent.
• Certificate of Practice with Manitoba College of Paramedics in good standing.
• Valid Class IV Manitoba driver’s license and BLS Level C.
• Proficiency with ERS and digital health tools used in Shared Health.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages and engage diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital care as an Emergency Medical Responder or Primary Care Paramedic.
• Work with diverse populations and respect Indigenous customs and languages.
• Interface with Shared Health clinical protocols and care maps as needed.
• Operate within LEADS framework to lead self and engage others.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and patient relations throughout care.
