Job summary

Oxford Learning Mississauga Central is seeking a part-time teacher-tutor to support Grade 9–12 students in math and English. The role is in-person at the Mississauga Central centre, with after-school and evening hours and Saturday shifts.

Applicants should be able to commute, with a commitment through the end of June 2027 preferred and relocation not required. Responsibilities include teaching up to three students simultaneously, following pre-planned lessons, and maintaining post-lesson notes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Grade 9 to Grade 12 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time.
• Teaching in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
