Job summary

The University of Ottawa on the Main Campus is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor for the Mechanical Vibration Analysis course (MCG4308) in the 2027 Winter Semester. Qualifications

• Successful completion of undergraduate mechanical courses.
• Strong knowledge of Free Body Diagrams and engineering mechanics.
• Good knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Available in person throughout the course session.
• Available to proctor the final exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching assistance to the course supervisor.
• Conduct weekly dissection labs and set up equipment.
• Consult with students, mark assignments and proctor exams.
• Hours allocation and other duties will be defined by the supervisor.
