The University of Ottawa is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor for the Fundamentals of Biomedical Mechanical Engineering course (MCG1103) at the Main Campus. You will assist the course supervisor with LAB/TUT sessions, student consultations, and grading, during the 2027 Winter Semester, Jan 1 to Apr 30, 2027.

Ideal candidates have completed undergraduate mechanical engineering coursework, possess strong communication skills, and can commit to in-person hours and proctoring

Qualifications

• Have successfully completed undergraduate mechanical courses.
• Strong knowledge of the subject and ability to communicate concepts clearly.
• Availability to work in person throughout the course session and proctor the final exam.

Responsabilités

• Provide teaching assistant to the course supervisor, conducting LAB/TUT, students consultation, marking and proctoring.
• Allocation of hours and other duties to be specified by the supervisor.
