Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an in-person French tutor for the 2026/2027 academic year. Sessions take place in students' homes or at a local public library across the greater Toronto area.

You will work one-on-one with students, delivering lessons aligned to the Ontario curriculum, providing supplemental assignments, and supporting remedial and enrichment needs while communicating progress with families. Availability Sep–Jun and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching French at Primary to Senior levels.
• Fluency in spoken and written French.
• OCT certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle preferred.
• Available for in-person tutoring in student's home or public libraries.
• Committed to tutoring for full 2026/2027 academic year (Sept–Jun).
• Openings in Aurora, Richmond Hill, King City, Markham & Newmarket areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in French based on Ontario curriculum.
• Provide supplemental assignments to promote understanding of material.
• Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
