Job summary

Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health in Waterloo Region is seeking two Registered Therapists to join our clinical team on a full-time, 1-year contract. You will deliver counselling/psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families using holistic practice and trauma-informed principles.

The role requires evening shifts at least twice per week and in-person service. The organization emphasizes community impact, learning, belonging, and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a counselling related field or MSW with fully registered status.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires balancing multiple demands and priorities.
• Effective problem-solving abilities to deal with emotionally charged situations on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical service to individuals, couples, and families based on holistic practice, family focus, and trauma-informed principles.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions using multiple modalities for concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups on topics including anxiety, relationships, and trauma-informed care.
• Provide crisis support with risk mitigation, safety planning, and connections to crisis services.
• Offer comprehensive assessments to understand client needs, including environment and family factors.
