Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and present solar products in customers' homes, guiding prospects from initial contact to installation.

You will travel within the local market, conduct in-home presentations, build relationships, and manage follow-ups in our CRM. The role offers competitive commissions, a comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities through internal programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales/lead generation experience; in-home sales preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Intermediate comfort with technology; using an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications; CRM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Self-generates sales leads and presents in-home solar product demonstrations.
• Develops effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Delivers an industry-leading customer sales experience from contact to installation.
• Conducts in-home presentations and assess knowledge and needs, building relationships.
• Manages pipeline from prospect to install and follows up on all leads.
• Reports outcomes via CRM and meets sales targets set by leadership.
