Job summary

KLEIN FAMILY in Toronto, ON is seeking a Home Child Care Provider to help care for their children in the family home. This full-time, on-site role starts as soon as possible with 30 to 40 hours per week at $20.85 per hour.

Responsibilities include supervising children, light housekeeping and meal prep, and accompanying the family on outings. A secondary school diploma is required; a criminal record check is needed; live-in accommodation is optional.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Security: Criminal record check required.
• Transportation: Public transportation is available.
• Weight handling: Up to 9 kg.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children; assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; shop for food and household supplies.
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; bathe, dress and feed children.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; prepare children for rest periods.
