Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Golf) to join our Launch Services team in Montreal. You will oversee customers' onboarding from start to finish and serve as the main point of contact during implementation.

You will lead kickoff calls, coordinate training, schedule internal resources, and maintain CRM updates to reflect timelines and responsibilities, ensuring satisfaction throughout the onboarding journey.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Golf Industry or as an avid golfer.
  • Experience managing customer expectations via phone and email.
  • Experience scheduling and assigning tasks without supervisory responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication in English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct kickoff calls with customers to outline onboarding processes and set expectations.
  • Ensure customer training is completed during onboarding.
  • Schedule internal resources for project tasks (hardware installation, billing cycle, payments).
  • Communicate project status and upcoming training dates to customers.
  • Manage a segment of customers through onboarding and update records in CRM.

We’re looking for an Implementation Consultant (Golf) to join our Launch Services team in Montreal. Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the steps of the customer's onboarding process from start to finish. You will serve as the main point of contact for customers during the onboarding process.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conducting kick-off calls with customers to outline processes and manage customer expectations of the onboarding process
  • Ensuring customer training is completed throughout onboarding process
  • Scheduling internal resources to complete project-related tasks, such as the hardware installation, starting the customer billing cycle, or setting up payments processing
  • Communicate with the customer on the status of the implementation and send reminders of upcoming training dates
  • Managing your own segment of customers who are working through the onboarding process
  • Maintaining consistent and timely updates to the customer based on task completion and customer responsibilities during onboarding
  • Updating customer records in our CRM and other web-based tools to reflect project updates and timelines
  • Managing the amount of time for customers to move from sales close to the time they’re using the system
  • Ensuring great customer satisfaction ratings.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Experience in the Golf Industry or Avid golfer
  • Experience managing customer expectations using phone and email communication
  • Experience resource planning and task assignment in a non-supervisory role
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both verbally and written. As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.

  • Experience with the retail or hospitality industry
  • Experience with Hubspot or Salesforce
  • Experience with ClickUp or ChurnZero
