What can you expect in this role?

Reporting to the Snr Manager, Finance Modernization and Continuous Improvement, this is primarily a business‑facing role that also collaborates with cross‑functional teams such as Project Management Office (PMO), Technology Support (TS), Enterprise Change Enablement (ECE), Human Resources (HR), Data Governance (EDO), Advanced Analytics (AA) and other business teams. You will focus on capture, translation and impact analysis of business requirements for finance stakeholders as part of program enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives within Google Cloud Analytics Data platform, Oracle Insurance Data Foundation and Oracle ERP Cloud. As a Continuous Improvement Analyst, you’ll use your financial and systems experience with data and reporting analysis to identify changes to operational processes within the financial close, and correlate these changes to other supporting business processes with recommendations for optimization. Flexibility to manage work activities within a hybrid arrangement and support remote work sessions is required.

What do you bring to the role?
  • Creative/Problem Solver – Identify, quantify, recommend and document call reduction reasons and opportunities to help achieve annual objectives.
  • Intuitive / Knowledge Driven – Conduct independent research on existing policies, procedures, methodologies and systems supporting the current state; identify changes needed to support revised processes; work with business teams and process analysts to recommend improvements into the overall roadmap and business cases for change and implementation.
  • Address Process Inefficiencies – Review business processes and identify ways to improve for efficiencies; think in a structured way to solve problems, organize work and analyze data/situations accurately to guide productive decisions.
  • Detail Driven – Extract findings and insights through data mining and analysis; prepare and document all required artifacts from ideation to post‑implementation tracking and reporting, including call trends over time.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis, interpretation, and assessment.
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in business, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in ERP systems and implementation of ERP systems.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud would be advantageous.
  • Data and financial accounting and reporting experience.
  • Strong communication to effectively communicate and lead workshops across functional teams to both business and technology teams.

Salary Range: $76,200–$127,000

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
