Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BCLS certification required.
• Two years postoperative inpatient surgery experience preferred.
• Experience in orthopaedics or related services preferred.
• Ability to work in a busy, high‑risk clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Safe nursing practice across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Provide professional, patient‑centered care to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Deliver care compassionately within a diverse environment and teach patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies, monitor changes in patient status and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with an inter‑professional team to support continuity of care and discharge planning.
