Job summary

Indigo in Toronto is seeking an Email Marketing Operations Specialist on a 12-month contract to manage day-to-day campaign deployment, audience validation, email code, and reporting. You will collaborate with the Email Marketing team to ensure campaigns, Journeys, and personalized experiences are accurately configured and delivered on time.

The role focuses on QA, testing, data hygiene, and operational support, with opportunities to optimize processes, automation, and testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hands-on experience in email marketing, CRM, campaign operations, or marketing automation.
• Experience building, testing, scheduling, and deploying campaigns within an email service provider.
• Iterable experience is preferred; experience with a comparable platform will also be considered.
• Experience with audience segmentation, suppression logic, list management, and data hygiene.
• Experience performing detailed QA across email content, code, audiences, personalization, and rendering.
• A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Technology, or a related field is an asset, or an equivalent combination.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong quality-assurance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, schedule, and deploy promotional email campaigns in Iterable.
• Configure audiences, suppression logic, personalization, tracking, and send settings.
• Perform campaign QA across content, links, products, legal copy, code, rendering, and customer experience.
• Support A/B and multivariate testing by configuring test groups, validating variations, and ensuring measurable results.
• Test personalized and dynamic content using representative customer profiles to confirm attributes and logic.
• Validate audience lists, segmentation criteria, data, catalog information, and expected send volumes.
• Support recurring campaigns, automated Journeys, triggered emails, templates, and reusable components.
• Complete basic HTML/CSS updates and triage email bugs and tickets.
• Document discrepancies before deployment and provide operational support.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements to drive efficiency.
