Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Infrastructure & Capital Projects team in Toronto. You will own end-to-end data delivery, build scalable data platforms, and partner with governance, analytics, and project controls to enable enterprise reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of data engineering or analytics experience, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong SQL, Python, Azure data services, and BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software engineering with a strong data focus.
• DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification; ITIL/CSM assets are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for defined data domains including ingestion, transformation, publishing, and operational support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure controlled baselines and governance without replacing control authority.
• Design scalable data architectures; implement change data capture, snapshots, and partitioning for performance and traceability.
• Implement CI/CD for data pipelines with testing, deployment automation, and versioning.
• Monitor data platforms, optimize compute/storage, and document data dictionaries, lineage, and mappings.
