Job summary

Accenture AI & Data in Canada seeks a Data Consultant to stand up data services and streaming components, deploy and configure databases, and build ingestion pipelines for curated analytical datasets. You will implement data quality, register metadata and lineage, and enable access for analysts and data scientists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and data modelling.
• Experience building scalable data platforms.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Eligibility for Canadian Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• English fluency to interact with stakeholders across Canada, the US and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' core business objectives and build end-to-end data-centric solutions.
• Collaborate with business systems analysts to understand requirements and optimize data pipelines.
• Build solutions leveraging big data and data management tools to meet project needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code with strong quality standards and low risk.
• Provide regular status reporting and help identify blockers for quick resolution.
• Work in a hybrid role and align with project timelines and governance.
