Job summary

Fleetworthy is seeking an R&D professional to maintain and enhance machine vision read rates and software configurations across our Canada/US network. You will become a SME for our proprietary technologies and partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and develop robust solutions.

In this role you will design imaging systems, evaluate new technologies, and lead projects from concept through delivery within an agile team. Strong programming skills in C/C++/C# and Python are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with image processing or optics.
• Strong knowledge of lighting and imaging principles and machine vision techniques.
• Proficient in C, C++, C#, Python.
• Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to write clean, secure code and follow best practices.
• Ability to prioritize projects and tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, program and implement imaging systems, hardware and software applications.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve image quality and performance.
• Lead projects from start to finish with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, software developers and customers to meet requirements.
• Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting of imaging systems and software.
• Document designs, architectures and system integrations.
