This permanent, full-time role designs, develops, and maintains manufacturing software with a primary focus on machine vision and camera-based technologies on-site in Winnipeg.

You will analyze user requirements, implement systems of varying complexity, and collaborate with vendors and the engineering team to integrate camera and scanning technology along the production

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing software with a primary focus on machine vision and camera-based technologies.
• Analyze user requirements and implement systems of varying complexity.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through innovative technical solutions.
• Work with vendors sourcing and testing new hardware.
• Knowledge of hardware devices, operating systems, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fully functional and tested applications that meet business and customer requirements.
• Provide clear and effective training to MSG/SME in the use of TAD applications and meet development targets.
• Contribute to research, development and continuous improvement of software to meet future business needs.
• Collaborate with vendors on sourcing and testing new hardware.
• Work with engineering to integrate camera and scanning technology with a production line.
