Job summary

Lakeridge Health Oshawa is seeking a Radiology Assistant in the CT Scan - Corporate department. This temporary part-time role involves scheduling CT, Mammography, IR and Ultrasound, entering orders, and preparing information for Radiologists, ensuring correct patient registration.

You will assist Radiology Technologists with patient transport, positioning, and safety, help organize patient flow, and support a positive patient experience in a modern imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Office Administration or equivalent.
• Experience in Diagnostic Imaging or related environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology (tested).
• Epic experience in admissions, order entry modules, and scheduling.
• Good keyboarding skills of 30-40 wpm (tested).
• Ability to work under pressure and organize patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Schedule CT, Mammography, IR and Ultrasound appointments; enter patient orders accurately.
• Assist Technologist with transporting patients and positioning; ensure patient safety.
• Prepare patient information and minimize delays in examinations.
• Assist with data processing and maintain patient safety and positive patient experience.
• Other related duties as assigned.
