Job summary

Qualifications

• Two- or three-year college diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering technology field.
• Minimum one year of experience servicing, testing, calibrating or maintaining medical imaging or biomedical equipment.
• Knowledge of Health Canada Safety Codes and Alberta OH&S Code.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose diagnostic imaging equipment and related components across modalities.
• Perform scheduled performance and quality control testing per maintenance programs and safety standards.
• Provide troubleshooting and coordinate on-site service with engineers as needed.
• Maintain documentation, testing records and quality management data.
• Assist with safety audits and compliance with Health Canada and OH&S requirements.
• Support equipment planning, installation, and equipment inventory management.
