Job summary

EFW Radiology is seeking Ultrasound Technologists to join our team for diverse ultrasound exams and exceptional patient care. The role reports to the Ultrasound Supervisor and emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with Radiologists, and adherence to privacy policies.

Qualified candidates hold a Diagnostic Medical Sonography credential, Sonography Canada certification, and Alberta licensure. The position offers daytime, evening, and weekend shifts as needed, with competitive benefits and relocation

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Credentialed member of Sonography Canada with liability insurance
• Valid and current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) and license to practice in Alberta
• Ability to scan 12-14 cases per day with good quality images
• Excellent oral and written communication, strong teamwork
• Strong computer/keyboard skills including RIS software (PACS)

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations (abdomen, Ob/Gyn, small parts, breast, vascular)
• Gather patient history and prep information
• Evaluate images to aid diagnoses and document scans
• Collaborate with Radiologists and maintain professional conduct
• Uphold privacy policies and contribute to a positive work environment
• Undertake additional duties as assigned
