WHO YOU ARE
• You are sales driven and service minded with experience of serving customers. Your passion for food makes you take pride in the food services you are providing.
• You have an obvious passion for IKEA’s food offering, products and design, as well as our sustainability commitment.
• You have more than 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume food service environment.
• You are flexible and know how to execute action plans in a good way, you truly make things happen.
• You have amazing ability to juggle multiple competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face.
• The IKEA Leadership approach inspires you and to lead by example is important to you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute and support the implementation of the store business plan and IKEA food action plan.
• Promote a safety-first culture, as well as coach fellow coworkers in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.
• Ensure that the kitchen is always in optimal state, equipment is well maintained, and the products are in perfect condition and correctly priced.
• Effectively follow proper processes and procedures in terms of food preparation, safety and waste reduction.
• Actively learn about the food we serve and sell and share your knowledge with customers and team members creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
• Keep customers in focus making sure that they have a consistently excellent shopping experience by empowering, challenging and coaching fellow co-workers to see through customers’ eyes.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 49120 CAD to 55260 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
