Insight Global is seeking an Identity Specialist II / IAM Engineer in Canada to design, implement, and support modern identity solutions across workforce and CIAM environments. This role requires hands-on IAM engineering experience and collaboration with cybersecurity, architecture, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable authentication and access governance.

You will work with SSO (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, lifecycle management, and API integrations, ensuring compliance with security

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on IAM engineering and implementation experience.
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and Active Directory experience.
• Experience with SailPoint or a comparable IGA/IAM platform.
• Hands-on experience with identity provisioning, lifecycle management, and access governance.
• Experience implementing SSO using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with enterprise/cloud applications, APIs, or connectors.
• Strong understanding of MFA, Conditional Access, Azure, and cloud security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related STEM field, SailPoint and/or Ping Identity (ForgeRock)

Job Description

We are looking for an Identity Specialist II / IAM Engineer to join a large public-sector organization based in British Columbia This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting modern identity solutions across both workforce identity (IGA) and customer identity (CIAM) environments. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who has been directly involved in building and implementing IAM solutions, rather than solely administering an existing platform. You’ll work closely with cybersecurity, architecture, development, and business teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions around authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access governance, and application integrations.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on IAM engineering and implementation experience
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and Active Directory experience
• Experience with SailPoint or a comparable IGA/IAM platform
• Hands-on experience with identity provisioning, lifecycle management, and access governance
• Experience implementing SSO using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC
