Job summary

CIBC in Toronto is seeking a Sr Security Application Support Engineer focused on Identity Management, SafeBreach, and DTEX. You will provide L2/L3 application support, handle incidents, and assist with platform upgrades while coordinating with security and infrastructure teams to ensure availability and governance.

Ideal candidates have IDM expertise, RBAC knowledge, strong troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to security operations in a modern banking environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Identity Management support with RBAC, entitlements and identity governance.
• Strong incident, problem, and change management knowledge with logs and monitoring.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Application Support for IDM and SafeBreach platform, including provisioning and access changes.
• Platform upgrades, patching validation, and release testing for security apps.
• Investigate platform issues, telemetry, and data ingestion problems.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and HR teams; support audit readiness.
