Job summary

Stantec Buildings is seeking ICT design professionals with experience in structured cabling and network infrastructure. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required, with some exposure to security or AV system design.

You will work on projects ranging from clinics to large campuses, collaborating with diverse teams and communicating effectively with clients by phone, email and in person. Hybrid work schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured cabling and network infrastructure.
• Experience in security or AV system design is a plus.
• Knowledge of creating design documents in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to communicate with clients by phone, email and in person.

Responsibilities

• Design structured cabling systems for buildings, campuses and tenant spaces with drawings and specs.
• Update specifications to match client needs or standards.
• Ensure designs meet local, provincial, and federal codes.
• Collaborate with Project managers and other design team members.
• Identify design problems and communicate unresolved items for review.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and contractors to develop solutions.
• Provide contract documents that meet codes and QA standards.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews and address feedback.
• Attend site visits and client meetings as needed.
• Pursue cross-training and training opportunities.
• Participate in meetings and initiatives supporting business goals.
• Adhere to hybrid schedule with flexible hours.
