Job summary

TRG Staffing Solutions in Brantford, Ontario, is seeking General Labour & Packaging Associates for a hands-on production role in a cold storage facility specializing in ice cream products. The position offers day shifts and a starting wage of CAD 18.00 per hour.

You will label, package, inspect quality, build pallets, and support the production line while adhering to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing experience is beneficial, and CSA safety shoes are required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold freezer environment and performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Previous manufacturing, packaging, or production experience is considered a strong asset.
• CSA-approved safety shoes are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assembly line in a production environment, primarily labelling and packaging ice cream products.
• Remove completed products from conveyor belts and manually pack into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• Build pallets of finished goods and safely moving them to the warehouse.
• Inspecting products for quality issues, including leaking bags, product defects, or damaged labels.
• Maintain quality standards and report any product non-conformances.
• Assist wherever needed on the production line, including case packing and covering line vacancies during breaks.
• Sweep, collect garbage, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
