Job summary

TRG Staffing Solutions is hiring General Labour & Packaging Associates for our Brantford client in a fast-paced candy and chocolate packaging environment. This hands-on role involves unpacking, assembly, labeling, packing, and warehouse duties.

Choose a day shift 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or an afternoon shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Prior warehouse or production experience is an asset, but motivated newcomers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic ability to read and write in English.
• Able to perform physical and repetitive tasks.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking products from boxes, including chocolate and candies.
• Performing hand assembly on an assembly line by packing into boxes or displays.
• Transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment manually or with powered equipment.
• Building boxes and displays and applying stickers or labels to products on the conveyor belt.
• Labeling or sealing repackaged boxes when required.

Previous warehouse or production experience is an asset, but candidates looking to gain experience are welcome to apply.Benefits of This Opportunity· $17.60/hour starting pay· Consistent Monday–Friday schedule· Choice of day or afternoon shift· Full-time opportunity· Opportunity to gain warehouse and production experience· Hands-on candy and chocolate packaging experienceJob ResponsibilitiesYou may be responsible for:· Unpacking products from cardboard boxes, including chocolate and candies.· Performing hand assembly functions on an assembly line by unpacking and repacking products into boxes or displays.· Transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment.· Making boxes and displays and applying stickers or labels to products as they move along the conveyor belt.· Labeling or sealing repackaged boxes when required.· Packing pallets with finished products.· Cleaning and organizing the work area at the end of the shift as directed.· Performing other general labour duties as required.Work Environment· Primarily working in a factory and/or warehouse setting.· Fast-paced production and packaging environment.· Standing for extended periods throughout the shift.· Regular walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.· Repetitive physical work may be required.Who We’re Looking For· High School Diploma or equivalent.· Basic ability to read and write in English.· Comfortable performing physical and repetitive tasks.· Able to work on your feet for extended periods.· Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused.· Previous warehouse, production, packaging, or general labour experience is an asset but not required.Physical Requirements· Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs regularly.· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.· Comfortable working in a warehouse/factory environment.Pre-Employment Requirements· CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes are required.Why Work with TRG Staffing SolutionsTRG Staffing Solutions connects job seekers with employment opportunities across Canada and supports candidates throughout the recruitment and placement process.
