Position Overview: Manufacturing Shift Supervisor

As a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, you will lead the production team during your shift, coordinating with departments such as SHE, QA, UMS, Logistics, and Mix to meet targets related to safety, quality, efficiency, volume, and waste. You will champion factory operating system practices and uphold safety and morale as core values, ensuring compliance with quality standards at all times.

• Coordinate and prioritize resources to meet shift targets for OEE, waste, safety, and quality.
• Deliver shift targets and participate in weekly production planning.
• Ensure safety and environmental procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and address waste control issues during the shift.
• Capture and transfer data on top losses to the next shift.
• Use appropriate tools and techniques to identify and solve problems.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure quality and food safety programs are executed (e.g., HACCP, CCP, OPRP).
• Act as incident commander during shifts, managing SHE/Q incidents and initiating EWOs as needed.
• Complete required documentation such as CILR and Tag reports.
• Manage SHE/Q risk assessments and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Handle employee coaching, disciplinary actions, and conduct reviews.
• Lead daily meetings and participate in projects supporting individual growth and continuous improvement.
• Participate actively in OEE and waste reduction initiatives.
