Job summary

Accenture Industry X is seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to design and oversee Maximo MAS9 implementations across client environments in Canada. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure solutions align with business goals.

Requirements include experience with Maximo integration technologies, Azure, DevOps, and strong understanding of security, performance tuning, and multi-project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object structures, services, channels)

• Experience with web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP
• English is required for this position across Canada
• Bi-lingual in French and English (bonus)

• Environment planning and understanding dependencies with client and vendors
• Defining monitoring parameters for Maximo aplicación including infrastructure, operations, and security
• Lead/guide onshore and offshore team members
• Support multiple teams including test, deployment, conversion, and change management
• Tune JVMs and their parameters for performance, JMS setup and tuning
• Collaborate with client security team to remediate security vulnerabilities at web and application layer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to design and oversee the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions for IBM MAS 9. As a Technical Architect, you will work closely with the rest of Tech Arch team as well as cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that architectural designs align with business goals and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Non-functional requirements design/build/test
• Planning of Maximo (MAS9) disaster recovery test, coordinating the execution of disaster recovery test with client and other vendors
• Environment planning, understanding dependencies/inter dependencies by working closely with client and other vendors
• Responsible for defining monitoring parameters of Maximo application, including infrastructure, operational and security monitoring, and alerting
• Lead/guide onshore and offshore team members with some of daily activities
• Being able to support multiple teams including test, deployment, conversion, and change management in with their environment’s requirements or troubleshooting
• Tune JVMs and their parameters for better performance, JMS setup and tuning
• Work with client security team to remediate potential security vulnerabilities at web and application layer

• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
