JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the IAS director, the IAS Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to staff and faculty PIs collaborating with the IAS director. This work includes: learning and using UCSC payment systems; processing and tracking all expense reimbursements; submitting orders through procurements; making travel arrangements; processing travel payments and reimbursements through university systems; and performing a variety of administrative functions. The IAS Administrative Assistant also provides logistical support for events and exhibitions.
APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
Budgeted Salary: $34.20-$37.30/ hourly. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
Under California law, the University of California, Santa Cruz is required to post a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The salary shown above is the budgeted amount the University reasonably expects to pay and the salary extended should not exceed this posted amount.

JOB DUTIES
50% - Provide financial support for IAS programs and those developed with collaborating faculty PIs
20% - Provide travel support for IAS guests, staff, and collaborators
