JOB DESCRIPTION

Location:Hybrid (Scarborough, ON)
Duration:6 months ( Possibility of extension, or conversion to full time employee)

Our client, a leading financial institution in Scarborough, ON is looking for an IAM Data Engineer toplay a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of an organization's data by managing user identities and access controls. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

• Review current data flow and assess gaps with a view to recommending and implementing changes to meet business requirements
• Participate in data analytics / gap analysis to identify gaps in current data flow between IAM systems including but not limited to AD, Entra, LDAP, Sailpoint IIQ, Database, etc.
• Participate in preparation of reports on findings and present recommendations
• Work with Engineering team to prepare implementation strategy
• Work with Engineering team to implement recommendations

Must-Have Skills:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Security related role
• Security Knowledge: Understanding of access control models, authentication methods, and security protocols
• 5+ years’ experience with identity and access management principles, knowledge of IAM tools and platforms Sailpoint IdentityIQ and Entra, Active Directory, and LDAP
• 3+ years’ Single Sign On (SSO) experience is required
• Recent experience scripting in PowerShell
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data using tools such as advanced excel (vlookup, pivot, vba scripting) and DB SQL queries

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Development skills in Sailpoint IdentityIQ and Entra would be considered an asset

Soft Skills Required:

• Communication: Strong skills in documenting and communicating/presentation to stakeholders

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
