Job summary

Egisgroup seeks an Intermediate/Senior Hydrogeologist to support municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development, energy, mining, and other projects across Alberta and Western Canada. The ideal candidate balances fieldwork with data interpretation, technical assessment, and reporting in Calgary or Edmonton.

You will lead hydrogeological field programs, interpret groundwater data, mentor staff, and support project managers with scoping, costing, proposals, and delivery while

Qualifications

• Degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related field with professional registration.
• 7+ years consulting experience in hydrogeology.
• Experience with groundwater monitoring, well installation, pumping tests.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
• Knowledge of Alberta Water Act and EPEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrogeological field programs including groundwater monitoring.
• Develop and interpret aquifer properties and groundwater quality.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and support project teams.
• Support regulatory permitting and impact assessments.
