Job summary

Lonestar Inc., a Clean Harbors Company, is seeking a Hydro Vac Technician (labourer/swapper) in Edmonton, AB to support our daylighting excavation activities across customer sites including pipeline, construction, utility and oil terminal work.

You will assist Hydro Vac Operators, perform trenching and shoring tasks, and ensure safe truck placement on each site while handling daily paperwork and light maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Experience as a laborer or swamper on a Hydro Vac is preferred.
• Industrial or construction labor experience is required.
• Ability and willingness to travel and to work on an on-call basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Assist the Hydro Vac Operators in the safe operation of all units;
• Complete tasks associated with Daylighting excavation, trenching and shoring;
• Ensure the job site placement of the truck is safe, stable and secure;
• Complete all required paperwork on a daily basis;
• Rig equipment in and out;
• General clean-up and maintenance of units upon completion on the job.
