Job summary

Covert Trenchless Solutions Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking a full-time Hydrovac Operator to handle hydrovac trucks for non-destructive excavations around sensitive infrastructure on commercial sites.

You will ensure safe operation, follow safety regulations, maintain daily logs, and provide excellent customer service while collaborating with site teams on a variety of projects. You will perform pre-job risk assessments, monitor trench safety, coordinate with project teams, and document site

Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hydrovac Operator based in Calgary, AB. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to perform non-destructive excavations around sensitive infrastructure. You will ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhere to safety regulations, and manage daily logs and documentation. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service while working on commercial construction sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Excavation, Heavy Equipment operation, and Commercial Construction
• Knowledge of Fall Protection systems
• Attention to detail and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous experience as a Hydrovac Operator is a plus
• Certification in relevant safety training programs is beneficial
