Job summary

CIMA+’s Infrastructure team is seeking a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer to lead water and wastewater projects in Ontario. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams while liaising with municipalities and clients.

You’ll apply hydraulic modeling expertise, oversee technical reports, and contribute to proposals and business development. A P.Eng. in Ontario and 7+ years of relevant experience are expected in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in hydraulic modeling and infrastructure planning.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ArcGIS is considered an asset.
• Valid Class G driver's licence with access to a vehicle.
• Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate water and wastewater hydraulic modeling projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and technical staff.
• Oversee the preparation and review of technical reports, studies, calculations, and drawings.
• Support project planning, infrastructure studies, and environmental assessments.
• Liaise with municipalities, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in client meetings and provide ongoing project communication.
• Mentor junior and intermediate staff.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, fee estimates, and business development initiatives.
• Support construction coordination and implementation activities as required
