Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Halifax seeks an experienced Project Manager for Water & Wastewater to lead municipal projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence. You will collaborate with design teams on pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment systems, while supporting proposals and business development across Atlantic Canada.

The role includes technical leadership and mentoring for junior professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Nova Scotia or eligible for registration.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in municipal water and wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
• Lead the process design of pumping stations, reservoirs, storage facilities, and water/wastewater treatment systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical design packages and solutions for municipal and industrial clients.
• Support proposals and actively contribute to business development activities within the water and wastewater sectors across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to intermediate and junior professionals.
• Act as a technical resource and trusted advisor for clients, supporting the development of long-term relationships and repeat business opportunities.
