Job summary

CoolIT Systems, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to design and validate liquid cooling solutions for high-performance electronics. You’ll manage development from concept to production, create CAD models and drawings, and perform thermal and structural analyses to ensure reliability.

This role sits in Calgary, with hybrid work and opportunities to contribute to AI-enabled cooling tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies for mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop liquid cooling products and components for high-performance computing applications.
• Lead product development from concept through production, including prototyping, testing, validation, and manufacturing release.
• Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Perform thermal, fluid flow, and structural analyses to optimize product performance and reliability.
• Conduct testing, analyze results, and investigate root causes to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, testing, and customer-facing teams to solve engineering challenges.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Support the development of innovative cooling technologies for AI and next-generation data centers.
